It was a kaminey Night

Yesterday i decided it would be a “KAMINEY NITE” . Well not really kaminey sorta thing , me and friends just decided to go see  a hindi movie Kaminey at the nearby hindi cinema.

I remember having nice conversation between  2 of my friends earlier  where one of them said  he saw this new hindi movie  “kamini” and it was a good movie , and my other friend said  did you mean “kaminey” and we both started laughing and really cracked up

Vishal Bharadwaj’s film Kaminey tells the story of two twin brothers who hate and avoid each other like plague until life makes their paths cross.

Kaminey (Hindi: कमीने, translation: Rascals) is a 2009 Bollywood film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj featuring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra Amole Gupte in lead roles

The part where the sing “daaan taada daaan… daana.. taaan dadaa dann..” is  abolutely GOLD and brings back nostalgia about the old movies where they regularly used to play that music  when an action seen starts in a movie. And there is also a whole song associated with that words in the movie.

Shahid kapoor has broken away from his romantic hero mould and has really done it with flourish. I’ve seen Shahid kapoor’s  other movies and he certainly is getting better with  each new movie  and has done a really brilliant acting job  in this movie

The story revolves around a basically old formula of 2 twin brothers , but are not SEPERATED AT BIRTH as usual .. but just hate each other and taken different paths.

PRIYANKA CHOPPRA SIZZLESS AS USUAL In kaminey

One wants to become  a high roller BOOKIE FOR HORSES and the other one  wants to  Not get married and live a family contented life or not.

The second ending part of the movie reaches a nice climax with the goan gangs . african gangs and the bhope (sorta gawli gang) all climaxing together for a big crescendo with the police also involved spurting a hail of bullets all around in a rain of fire

If you want to see who lives and who survives in the movie ..go get your ticket and head for the cinemas .. it will be money worth spent!!
