Finally the Bollywood Hero Imran Khan has decided he wants to marry her girlfriend Avantika Malik. Imran Khan, who is known to have a massive female fan following, broke many hearts when he got engaged to girlfriend Avantika in January 2010.
Imran Khan who has recently given a big hit film I Hate Luv Storys has got engaged to his Avantika and declared that he wishes to settle in January 2011.While the much-awaited wedding ceremony will reportedly be a family affair, the mehendi cum pre-wedding bash is expected to have Bollywood gliteratti on the guest list.
Imran met Avantika, a 23-year-old girl,daughter of CNBC TV18′s head, Vandama Malik at a social event and then began the love story. She did her education from Bombay Scottish School and St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She then moved to the US for higher studies.
Imran and Avantika Malik have been dating each other for eight years – long before the former earned name and fame in Bollywood. They got engaged on January 16 last year before finally deciding to tie the knot
On Saturday, Karjat came to life hosting Imran Khan-Avantika Malik’s sangeet ceremony, ahead of their wedding tomorrow at a undisclosed farmhouse. While the couple arrived early at the farmhouse owned by the bride-to-be’s family, Bollywood’s powerful and glamorous made their way to Karjat around midnight. Imran made his Bollywood debut as the main lead starring opposite Genelia D’Souza in ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, which went on to become a hit. While his contemporary Ranbir Kapoor is known to be B-town’s cassanova, Imran has always seemed to be a one woman man, for he’s never been romantically linked with any of his female co-stars so far.
Indian news source said that Aamir Khan has asked his new found friend Karan Johar to design Imran’s costume for the wedding.
Imran and Avantika, who had got engaged about one year back, would reportedly have a sunset wedding, as the much-in-love couple is set to enter matrimony by the beach in Phuket, Thailand on January 10.Designers Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra, who are taking care of the couple’s wedding dress, revealed that they have designed a scarlet gown for the bride, as it would be a sunset wedding.
